Swarnavahini is broadcast television station in Colombo, Sri Lanka, providing Lifestyle and Entertainment shows. Previously known as ETV 1, Swarnavahini produces and airs newscasts, TV comedies and dramas, and cooking and other lifestyle shows.

The Swarnavahini television channel was launched on the 16th of March 1997, with high-quality programming, reaching out to an extensive audience islandwide.

Vasantham TV (வசந்தம் தொலைக்காட்சி) is a broadcast television station in Battaramulla, Sri Lanka, providing Public broadcasting content. Also known as Wasanthan TV, Vanantham TV produces and airs content to provide information, education and entertainment based on credibility and trust with a view to enriching peoples lives.

From the time of beginning of the channel it has the coverage only to the Western Province. Afterwards it has expanded its coverage towards Jaffna and also has expanded the coverage through the South Asian tallest Kokkavil Transmitting Tower and it covered whole Northern Province. As the next step through the Madulseemai Transmitting Tower it has expanded its broadcasting to Uva Province, Badulla District and Eastern Province. Mr. Murugesu Kulendran is the present Channel head of Vasantham TV.

Hiru TV is a broadcast television station in Colombo, Sri Lanka, providing Entertainment shows. As part of Asia Broadcasting Corporation, Hiru TV airs comedies, dramas, documentaries and music shows. Hiru TV entered Sri Lanka's television history by offering island-wide coverage from day one.

Verbum TV is the first Catholic television channel in Sri Lanka and has been endorsed by the Roman Catholic Church.

Verbum TV is the very first Catholic TV Channel in Sri Lanka established with the blessings of the Bishops’ Conference to enhance the faith and spirituality of Catholics living in Sri Lanka as well as those domiciled overseas.

We reach our target groups in Sinhala, Tamil and English languages. Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC) was created by an Act of Parliament on 23 rd January 1982, established on 14th February 1982 and commissioned transmission on 15th February 1982.

SLRC aims to provide the best possible programmes to satisfy the needs of its viewers for informative , educational and family oriented entertainment.

The Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, the National Television Network was commissioned on 15th February 1982, expanded its studio and transmission facilities in 1986 and rehabilitated most of the original equipment using digital technology in 1998 under three grant aid projects from the Government of Japan. its studio complex is situated in Colombo the commercial capital of Sri Lanka.

its studio complex is situated in Colombo the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. The complex comprises of a Master Control Room, four Studios, two Dubbing Studios, Digital Post Production Unit, two Analogue Post production Units, several editing suites including Non Linear Editing and four Outside Broadcast vehicles.
