The Lombardia TV broadcaster was born in 1983, on the initiative of the publisher Roberto Fontana. Today forma is one of the most important television companies in Lombardy, with a Multi Regional coverage, covering 6 Regions: Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Veneto and Liguria, in digital terrestrial technology thanks to a widespread transmission network.

From the point of view of programs, we have always wanted to carry out local-oriented broadcasts, addressing all age groups, focusing on the world of information, sports, culture, from music to political and social study.

Rai News 24 is an Italian free-to-air television channel centred towards airing news as its main programming.

It was launched on 26 April 1999 at 6 am. Until 19 May 2000, the channel broadcast live weekdays only and re-aired previous recordings during the weekend.

On 4 January 2017, the channel launched its own HD feed.
