Syrian drama sits on the throne of Arab drama and within the media’s constant obsession to cover the details of the Syrian cultural and artistic scene and keeping pace with the dramatic achievement, the Ministry of Information had the option to launch a “Syria Drama” channel on 20/8/2009.

The drama window is all that happens on the Syrian scene and emulates, through its specialized vocabulary, the concerns and aspirations of the Syrian society and the follow-up of national events socially, economically and politically, leading to its role as a major national partner, especially during the crisis that passed that contributed to drawing the Syrian media scene and built a unique window.

On the Syrian reality for the homeland in the diaspora and its growing Arab audience, it was a platform for awareness, defense, response, and dedication to the brave Syrian Arab Army, embodying this and with all professionalism the saying, "Art to serve society
