RTP Açores is a Portuguese regional television channel operated in the Autonomous Region of the Azores by the national broadcaster, RTP (Rádio e Televisão de Portugal).

RTP3 is a Portuguese news themed television channel owned by the public corporation Rádio e Televisão de Portugal .

Information occupies most of the space on the television grid, with regional information having a strong presence. In addition to news programs, RTP3 also broadcasts informative magazines and debates on current affairs, introducing the nation's less mediated protagonists.

The programs are intended to be alternative and aimed at a specific cable television audience, due to the lack of content on DTT . It is aimed at a demanding audience, having a young line of entertainment with a special focus on music, society and sports. Despite the fact that RTP is a Portuguese state company, the channel is not considered a public service television channel (but rather a channel of Public Interest), as well as RTP Memoria .

RTP Africa is a general television channel co-produced by RTP for the inhabitants of the Portuguese-speaking African countries : Angola , Cape Verde , Guinea-Bissau , Mozambique and São Tomé and Príncipe .

Its regular broadcasts began on January 7, 1998 with satellite and terrestrial television broadcasting in all of these countries except Angola, where it can only be received by satellite. It is also distributed on cable networks in Portugal.

Produced in association with the public television of the five African countries of the CPLP ( Community of Portuguese Language Countries ), RTP Africa is complemented by RTP NET, a project aimed at exchanging programs and news between Lisbon and regional capitals.
